MKM Building Supplies Limited and subsidiaries 'Garden Goals' Social Media Competition – Terms & Conditions
By entering the ‘Garden Goals’ social media competiton you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1.Eligibility:
1.The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and above.
2.Employees of MKM and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
2.Submission Guidelines:
1.Participants must submit original images of their garden makeovers, clearly showcasing paving purchased from MKM.
2.Multiple entries per participant are allowed, but each entry must feature paving bought from MKM.
3.Rights & Usage:
1.By submitting images, participants grant MKM the rights to use and display their content for promotional purposes across various marketing channels, with proper attribution.
2.Participants retain ownership of their images but acknowledge that MKM may edit or modify them for marketing purposes.
4.Prize Distribution:
1.The prize for this competition is a Lay-Z Spa AirJet Miami 4 Person Inflatable Hot Tub
2.Winners will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by MKM based on creativity, aesthetics, and adherence to the theme. Judges will check that materials have been bought from MKM before announcing the winner.
3.The prize winner will be notified via email or direct message on social media within 7 days of the submission deadline.
4.Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative rewards.
5.Anyone who submitted within the competition timeframe may be contacted by MKM to arrange professional photography organised by MKM for the purpose of use on marketing materials such as the landscaping brochure. Entrants may decide they do not want to participate in the photography, which is at the discretion of the entrant.
5.Submission Deadline:
1.The deadline for submitting entries is Friday 31st May. Entries received after this date will not be considered for the competition.
2.The winner will be notified on Friday 7th June and will be contacted by Private Message.
6.Liability & Indemnification:
1.MKM shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the competition or acceptance of prizes.
2.Participants agree to indemnify and hold MKM harmless against any claims arising from their submission or participation in the contest.
3.Please note, we will never ask winners to provide their bank details online as the prize is free. If you are contacted by a page that impersonates MKM in any way, please report them. We will contact via direct message and will not comment to the winner to announce that they have won.
7.Modification & Termination:
1.MKM reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice, in its sole discretion.
8.Data Privacy:
1.Personal information collected during the contest will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
9.Governing Law:
1.The competition and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law.
By participating in the contest, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions in their entirety.
