Fernox Protector F1 Express - 400ml

In central heating systems, Protector F1 is the leading inhibitor that prevents corrosion and limescale formation.

In order to provide superior protection to the heating system, this high performance product combines three inhibitors of organic particles that bind to the metal surface of the heating system to protect from debris, as well as anodic inhibitors that react with metal surfaces to form protective layers, and cathodic inhibitors that combine with salts in hard water to form an insoluble layer. Fernox Protector F1 also includes enhanced pH buffering to prevent system water pH levels from falling below 6.5 or rising above 8.5 - the ideal range for preventing corrosion and limescale buildup. In line with local regulations and best practice, and for long-term protection of the system, concentration levels should be maintained and checked annually as part of the boiler or system service.

By using Barrier Pressure Pack technology and compressed air propellant, Fernox Express is non-flammable throughout its entire range. Since the propellant (compressed air) is not mixed with the active product, there is no chance of air entering the system and accelerating corrosion.
