MKM Anlaby have also been hosting French-themed breakfast morning to get in to the spirit and our Sheffield North branch became involved with a community art project!
Mark Jackman from the branch spoke about MKM’s involvement with the contemporary bike sculpture named ‘Up-Cycle’: “We collaborated with Jewel Construction to get the groundworks ready, where H. Askey Haulage then moved the sculpture from Worrall Memorial Hall to the village center. The installation was a very smooth operation. It was lovely, crowds of local people watching in and a big cheer when the final nut was tightened!”
David Beach (also from MKM Sheffield North) attended the launch and handed out MKM merchandise: “Nick Clegg visited on 27th June to officially unveil the sculpture, it really has been a joint community
effort and wonderful to be a part of!”
