Select from our ranges of timber decking and composite decking. Use reclaimed railway sleepers to create interest and shape.

Millboard Composite Decking

Avoid warping and splinters. Choose from one of our composite decking products. You can still create that, beautiful, warm, natural timber look. All our composite boards are low maintenance, weather resistant, durable and come in a variety of colours.

Natural Timber Decking

Outdoor spaces come in all shapes and sizes. Our natural timber ranges have enough style options to suit any project. Keep it simple or enhance your project by choosing one of our many balustrades.

The perfect compromise! Timberstone is concrete paving but designed to look like old weathered timber - making it incredibly hard-wearing. Ideal for settings where standard paving may not feel apprropriate and decking is not suitable or practical. Available in a shades of brown and grey.

You want to build a deck of your own. To extend your living space into the garden. What type of decking should you use? There are a few things to consider.

Types of decking:

Softwood timber decking is still the most popular form of decking. If you are working to a budget, it may be your preferred option. The decking is pressure treated for protection, but you will need to clean it annually. Using a wood treatment in addition will add to the longevity of your decking. Pressure treated decking can also be stained.

Hardwood decking is formed from a denser wood. It is naturally more hard wearing and is naturally less susceptible to moisture damage. Hardwood decking usually has a stronger colouring, but as with any timber product, this will weather with age.

Here at MKM we offer the latest ranges of composite decking boards. Made from a combination of recycled wood and plastic composite, decking such as Eva-Last and Fitrite offer a sustainable alternative to traditional wood decking systems. Most composite systems have hidden fixings, meaning the surfaces are screw free and visually appealing. By the nature of their manufacture, they also come in a range of colour options.
