Hexham apprentice wins young employee of the year award

A young apprentice at MKM Hexham has been recognised by his boss, Hexham Rotary Club, and Hexham Town Council as Young Employee of the Year.

The awards recognise and reward employees who are aged under 25 and make an outstanding contribution to their organisation. Kieran Bell was nominated for the award by MKM Hexham Branch Director Derek Telfer, and successfully passed a panel interview stage at the end of February.

Derek was at the ceremony on Monday 13th March to see Kieran collect his much-deserved trophy.

First prize, the JB Jonas Trophy, was donated by Hexham Town Council and is named after the late Mayor. Kieran was also presented with a cheque of £250.

Congratulations Kieran and thank you for your contribution to the team at MKM Hexham.
