Alnwick: Plumbing, Heating & Bathroom Salesperson

In this position, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of plumbing, heating and bathroom products.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Providing quotations for customers
- Purchasing materials and managing stock levels for the category
- Dealing with customers both face to face and over the telephone
- Guide customers through the full bathroom design and sales process
- Giving excellent customer service and sound product advice
- Taking a proactive approach to plumbing and heating sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale

Qualifications and Skills
- Sound plumbing and heating product knowledge needed
- Previous sales experience in a plumbing and heating merchant environment or a builders merchant environment is essential
- Bathroom design experience would be advantageous for this role, however, training can be arranged should it be required
- Confident dealing with customers
- The ability to build great customer relationships
- A good telephone manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Computer literate

Anlaby: Bathroom Sales Designer

Bathrooms are an element of what we currently offer at our Anlaby branch and is an area with great potential for development and growth.

We are looking for an experienced person to drive this part of the business forward.

Choosing a new Bathroom is a big decision for our customers, therefore you will need to get to know them, listen to their needs and work with them every step of the way to ensure their requirements are met. Duties will include:

Crewe: Plumbing and Heating Manager

Driffield: Trade Counter Sales/Warehouse Assistant

In this role you will work as part of a small team responsible for the sale of a wide range of building products, within the Sales Counter and Warehouse.

In this role you will: Support in the day to day running of the trade counter, offer excellent face-to-face customer service when handling customer queries, provide quotations for customers and follow these up, purchase materials, manage stock levels, assist customers as required, load and unload vehicles, accurately pick and check orders, store stock safely and maintain a tidy and safe working environment.

You will be dealing with our customers on a daily basis, therefore, we are looking for someone that, has the likeability factor, gives excellent customer service, is hard working, has a positive attitude and someone who pays good attention to detail.

Builders Merchants industry and product knowledge would be advantageous for this position.

Durham: Trainee Branch Administrator

Following completion of an initial training period you will be responsible for a range of administrative procedures within the branch including:-

-Answering the telephone
-Assisting with cashiering duties (following relevant training
-Assisting with customer and supplier invoice queries
-Ordering stationery and workwear
-Providing administrative support for our sales team

Goole: HGV, HIAB Crane Driver

Our Goole branch are looking to recruit a HGV Driver with HIAB Crane experience. In this role you will be responsible for multi drop deliveries to customers in the surrounding area, providing top quality customer service.

The role involves driving the Class 2 HGV, HIAB Crane vehicles, were a Class 2 licence, digital tachograph card and up to date CPC training is essential. HIAB certification and experience would be a distinct advantage for this role.

As a driver you are the face of MKM to many of our customers and as such you should be of smart appearance and have a positive, friendly and helpful manner. You should also be enthusiastic, hardworking and have a positive attitude.

Haverhill: Internal Salesperson

In this position, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies products.

Duties will include providing quotations for customers, purchasing materials and managing stock levels. Leamington Spa: Trainee Counter Sales Assistant

In this role you will be responsible for a range of sales procedures within the branch, spending time on the trade counter where you will be dealing with customers coming into the branch, ensuring they get the best service and advice, as well as providing quotations and following them up. You will also have responsibility for aspects of stock management ensuring that the branch operates with appropriate levels of stock and maintains accurate stock records.

You will also spend time working in other areas within the branch to ensure you gain a full understanding of the business including administration tasks which could involve processing goods inwards paperwork, creating despatch notes, generating invoices and dealing with customer and supplier invoice queries.

The role requires you to ensure housekeeping is well maintained including excellent external presentation of our branch, providing excellent standards of service, efficiency and performance.
