The branch, which is situated on Glenearn Road in Perth, offers building supplies, timber, landscaping products, kitchens and bathrooms.
The team is all made up of 12 local, hand-picked experts who will be able to provide advice and talk you through the whole MKM range of high quality brands. MKM Perth is run by Alan Patterson, who has over 27 years of experience in the builders’ merchant trade.
He is looking forward to running an independent branch and meeting with new customers, as he explains: “I’ve spent the last 10 years working for a national group of builders’ merchants so it’s a refreshing change to be working for an independent. I started out working at an independent builders’ merchant and my career has now come full circle. It’s a great opportunity to be launching a new branch of my own, but with the backing and purchasing power of MKM.”
This branch is the third MKM builders’ merchant to open in Scotland, with the other two located in Edinburgh and Kirkcaldy and is the 37th MKM branch to open in the UK. The new branch will offer our Scottish customers more choice and flexibility when it comes to ordering and arranging delivery of their building supplies.
