Garden Gorillas were asked to create a small plot outside a dental surgery, where they could teach their patients, and in particular children, about the wider issues of oral care. Together with MKM they decided to create two sections, the first being an instant herb garden that was installed and planted in a single afternoon.
Next they built a 3 sq.m plant bed designed at low level to give it easy access for children and wheelchair users who can't reach far. The plan is to plant up some cabbage and sprouts for the Christmas table.
The materials were generously provided by MKM Building Supplies, Sheffield North branch so we're giving a special mention to their Branch Director Dave Beach.
